This is a collaboration piece between Sam Schultheis, Michael Vok, and Andrew Scelta. In this silhouette, two noblemen are talking to each other. The value change serves as a metaphor for the difference in social structure, such as the noblemen are black as well as the jacket to show that they have more importance and are more respected in society. The people in a slightly lighter tone are seen as objects to support the upperclass. The chair is the same tone as the other people to show that, to the noblemen, they are seen as objects of the same importance as the chair. The image has unity in that every piece of the image has importance to get the idea of social structure, whether it be the noblemen or the peasants. By utilizing these elements and principals of design, this idea of social structure has been achieved.
